Professional Staging/Decorating To Showcase Your Property's Best Attributes.
Hello and Welcome to my site! Let me tell you a little about me. My love for decorating started as a teenager. My mother used to pay me to clean her room. Afterwards, she was always impressed with the way I re-arranged her furniture, artwork, and knickknacks as we call those little treasures our parents kept on the dressers and tables. At the age of 16, I started working and earning my own money.-that meant I was able to decorate my room the way I wanted to. Twice a year, I would paint my room, change my bedding and curtains, and purchase new pictures to hang on my wall. My friends were always impressed with my work. From there, I went on to decorate 9 apartments and townhouses I've had since the age of 21. I continued that passion for decorating by taking interior decorating classes at a local college and taking continuing education painting courses with Benjamin Moore. I am a graduate of The Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program (https://stagingdiva.com) created by internationally known home staging expert Debra Gould of Six Elements Design Group, Inc (https://stagingdiva.com/about) Let me assist you with your home, short term rentals & business staging needs. Request a consultation today.
During your consultation, staging your home to appeal to the widest range of potential buyers is the goal. I will approach every consultation and project honestly, professionally, and with integrity.
Every effort will be made to highlight the home's best assets and present it in the best light.
I've always had the creative vision when it comes to mixing patterns and prints, using color to evoke the right mood and function in a room, and using the right furniture and accessories to tell a decorative story. My staging/decorating services will help you select the right colors for your home.
Staging your home refers to a method of decorating your home and designing it to showcase its best assets, impress buyers, and sell quickly for the highest possible price. Staging involves deep cleaning, decluttering, depersonalizing, defining rooms and functionality, removing odors, painting (if needed), addressing flooring needs, lighting, furniture, and exterior needs.
Each client will start with a consultation that will address all of these needs. The initial consultation fee is set for UP to 2 hours. Clients will receive a customized plan on what to do in order to neutralize your home and create a space that will appeal to buyers. If further assistance is needed, an additional fee will be assessed. This fee covers any staging work that may be done to prepare the home for showings such as packing up and storing items, cleaning, shopping for new items (if needed) assisting with furniture re-arrangement and possible rental needs, arranging hauling/pick up services, etc.
The goal is to make a memorable first impression with the potential buyers that will view your home. Is staging really worth it? YES! Paying a minimal consultation fee for professional staging services and assistance in order to get offers that may exceed your offering price is a win win situation. According to the National Association of Realtors, 83% of agents said that staging made it easier for potential buyers to visualize themselves in a staged home. Staging a home does not require deep pockets and bare homes, but it does require an open mind. Many clients use what they already have and realtors and flippers can rent furniture to give potential buyers that warm and inviting feel when viewing a home. Buyers will most likely focus on what's WRONG with a home if there's nothing in the house to evoke a sense of home. A professional stager has the creative talent and vision to re-create a space in a way that will appeal to a wide range of buyers.
The Bottom Line
Even if you have gobs of money to spend, don't place too much emphasis on that. You want to emphasize your property's best features, but keep in mind that what sells a home and what make the home valuable to the potential buyer is not the same thing. To get the most for your money, your home staging efforts should be done with the intent to appeal to the widest range of interested buyers. The more people willing to submit offers for your home, the higher the selling price will be. Keep in mind, other factors such as listing information, market, price points, and efforts of your agent will also play a role in getting your home sold. I will use the same passion I've had as a teenager to make your home or business all things visually amazing. Call or email me to request a consultation.
Happy Staging!

1. Stop thinking of it as YOUR home. Once you decide to put your home on the market, you have to think like a potential buyer. Remember what you had in mind when you were shopping for your home.
2. Don't be afraid to change the functionality of a room. Just because you used a space as your gym or junk room doesn't mean it can't be used as a child's bedroom.
3. Invest in some simple, but elegant "extras". The nice candlesticks or vase you've been eyeing at Homegoods or Marshall's would be perfect for the dining room table or mantel.
4. Seek HONEST suggestions. Family and friends that give you their honest opinion about those hoarded items is beneficial.
